Though it is fairly clear Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee, I have to say I feel Jon Huntsman would have been the better choice. The main issues of this election are the economy and the national debt. Jon Huntsman has good experience in the economy being as he was once the executive for Huntsman Corporation and during his time as Governor for Utah, his state was number one in job creation. He also served as Ambassador to China during the Obama administration, and considering China controld most of our national debt having a good relationship with them is key. Also he seems to work well with both Democrats and Republicans considering he accepted the position offered by Barack Obama, and considering how both parties being unwilling to compromise has caused this lame duck session of Congress that would have also been a useful tool.
